the department of Mechanics of continuous media and theory of structures It is the teaching and research unit in charge of coordinating the teaching staff who teaches in the areas of aerospace and mechanics engineering of continuous media and structure theory, in accordance with the teaching program of the University and of supporting the activities and initiatives teaching and researchers of said teaching staff.

Currently, the department has an approximate staff of 70 people, including teaching and research professors, technical management and administration staff and research workforce.
